Just had to change two rate settings and that was that. XBL hasn't presented a problem either. The only change I've made was opening a port range because of some intermittent voice problems (talking on the headset). Methinks the problem isn't the hardware, it's the operator. Dec 03, 2013 · I have a WRT54G 10/100 Wireless Router with 4 wired ports on the device. I'm curious what the maximum bandwidth of the device is. If it's 10/100 I assume that to mean that each port has a maximum bandwidth of 100mbps. If it has 4 100mbps ports can it transfer at 400mbps potentially or do those 4 ports share the maximum speed of 100mbps. Well which version of 8 do you have v8.1, v8.2 or v8.3? and the only version of DD-WRT that you're going to be able to get onto the router is the micro edition. Seems Linksys caught on after v5 that people were using them for DD-WRT and so they basically gimped their own router to stop the hacking.

It's through this address that you access the router settings and options. There's no default username for the WRT54G, so leave this field blank when logging in.
